In the recently held second surveillance audit to verify conformance of DOLE MIMAROPA to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, audit report showed that the organization demonstrated a good level of compliance.
Field Offices of Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Palawan were also audited. The audit confirmed availability of documented operational procedures at regional level and field office level. It was also verified that Internal Audit, Customer Satisfaction and Management Review were done consistently in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Verification of previous Non-Conformity (with Corrective-Preventive Action Reports or CPARs issued during the internal audits) was also done and now closed.
With this remarkable maturity of management system and commitment of the top management to continual improvement and effectiveness, DOLE MIMAROPA indicated its readiness for the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to 9001:2015. And so, training for this transition is tentatively scheduled this coming April 2017.
