PMAOMI undergoes orientation on Enhanced Phil-Job Net, PEIS and PTMI

As DOLE-Oriental Mindoro and PESO Managers Association of Oriental Mindoro, Inc. (PMAOMI) regularly hold quarterly meeting, PESO Managers during the second quarterly meeting on April 20-21, 2017 were oriented on Enhanced Phil-Job Net, PESO Information System (PEIS) and Philippine Talent Map Initiative (PTMI).

The orientation which was conducted by John Christopher Gunday, Information System Analyst II, Jhomer Greg Acedillo, LEO II of the DOLE MIMAROPA Regional Office and Mary Ann B. Dudas, Administrative Aide VI of DOLE OrMin Field Office provided the PESO Managers hands-on experience in using the new system. The new learnings acquired by PMAOMI shall be shared to more job seekers and employers for their benefit and shall also enhance the promotion of labor market information in the province.

The DOLE-PESO accomplishments as of March 2017, in-lined project proposals, and follow-up on status of liquidation of cash advances through the demand letters served to the Accredited Co-Partners were among the agenda of the 2nd quarterly meeting. Engr. Juliana H. Ortega, Field Officer discussed about the Basic Life Skills Survey and SPES Baby Information Sheet and Profile Forms in connection with SPES implementation.

There was also an assessment on the PMAOMI’s hosting of the 13th MIMAROPA Regional PESO Congress held on March 14-16, 2017 at Sea Jewel Beach Resort, White Beach, Puerto Galera which generally turned out good.
