Both gave job interview tips and reminded the aspirants that they should exemplify a right attitude and good work ethics which will make them successful in their careers. ARD Bernardo Toriano delivers the message of DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III addressed to all Manggagawang Pilipino (Filipino workers). “Ako, kasama po ang buong kagawaran, ay nagpupugay sa manggagawang Pilino, and tunay na dangal nga ting lahi at kabalikat sa pagsulong at ganap na pagbabago ng ating bayan.” (I, and the whole Department of Labor and Employment, salutes all Filipinos in the labor sector—where lies the true honor of our race and the partner in progress and entire growth of our nation). He assures every Filipino workforce that wherever they may be, in our homeland or overseas, the government is always vigilant in its duty to protect their rights.  ARD Toriano then gave his own message to the applicants to be always forbearing and persevering not just in their hunt to land a job but until they are already employed. “Kailangan ng sakripisyo at deteminasyon para mapabuti ang kalagayan ng ating buhay,” he added. (One needs to make sacrifices and must have the right amount of determination in order to improve his life.)

The second part of the program is the awarding of certificates to partnered agencies for their invaluable contribution and support to the Jobs Fair as part of Labor Day Celebration.
