A SPES baby, GIP beneficiary turned permanent government employee

ODIONGAN, ROMBLON – Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES) is considered a stepping stone to employment of most students. They are waiting for summer time to come for them to grab this opportunity as SPES beneficiaries.

Gaywaneth Kristine F. Musico, a SPES baby from the Municipality of Banton from year 2011 to 2013. Later 2015, she became a beneficiary of the Government Internship Program (GIP) for the period of three months. Having the perseverance and being dedicated to her job, Ms. Musico was blessed as she is presently appointed to a permanent position as Administrative Assistant I of the Local Government Unit of Banton.

Ms. Musico is just one of the SPES and GIP beneficiaries, whose success was just permanently started thru our government employment programs. Her triumph reflects the objective of SPES: develop the intellectual capacities of children of poor families and harness their potentials for the country's well-being.
