MIMAROPA’s minimum wage remains 320, 294 pesos

ORIENTAL MINDORO – DOLE MIMAROPA clarified today, the prevailing minimum wage rate in the region is still Php320.00 a day (10 workers and above) and Php294.00 a day (1-9 workers) under Wage Order No. RB-MIMAROPA-09.

The said Wage Order took effect on 27 November 2018 after 15 days from its publication in the November 22, 2018 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. 

Under existing guidelines, any Wage Order issued by the Board may not be disturbed for a period of 12 months from its effectivity. 

With the lapse of the 12-month period, the RTWPB has scheduled a series of public consultations to initiate a review of the current minimum wage level. 

The first public consultation is set to be held on 31st of March 2020 in Calapan City.
